Mount Ararat, with its incredible 5,137 meters, is not only the highest mountain in Turkey but also one of the largest volcanic massifs on our planet, rising above the lowlands of eastern Anatolia. It is a legendary mountain and is believed to be where Noah’s Ark came to rest.
It offers magnificent views of three countries: Turkey, Armenia, and Iran. Its ascent is not technically demanding, and any experienced hiker who is confident in their steps and good physical condition can conquer this mountain.
This thrilling adventure also provides an opportunity to experience the nature of Eastern Anatolia, its culture, and, of course, the wonderful Turkish cuisine.
