Langtang Valley Trek, Nepal

October- December 2024, March- May 2025

Duration: 10 Days
Max elevation: 5,150 meters

The Langtang Valley, located deep into the heart of the Himalayas, along the Nepal-Tibet border, is a prime example of a classic glaciated landscape, shaped during the last ice age, which makes trekking along its floor relatively easy.

At the northeastern end, the valley narrows into small active glaciers, slowly descending from towering mountain slopes and tributary valleys. This compact and diverse environment provides a wealth of trekking options, from side trails and
circuit routes to high mountain pass traverses and peak climbing.
Within just a few days, trekkers can journey from the lower Himalayan foothills to the glaciers of the high Himalayas. This particular trek takes you to one of Langtang’s most striking vantage points: the summit of Tsergo Ri, standing at 5,150 meters.
