Mount Kenya, Kenya

July 2026

In the heart of Africa rises Mount Kenya, the continent’s second highest peak and one of its most spectacular landscapes, where glaciers meet the savannah.

The Sirimon–Chogoria traverse offers the most scenic and complete experience of the mountain. The route ascends through forests and moorlands to Point Lenana (4,985m), the highest trekking summit without technical climbing, where unforgettable sunrises unfold above the African plains.

The descent via Chogoria reveals dramatic valleys, alpine lakes and waterfalls, making this route the most diverse and rewarding way to experience Mount Kenya.
